GeekAssets.com is NOT a pawnshop, pawnbroker nor a lending institution, nor associated with any government agencies. GeekAssets.com is a private membership website that allows its members to use our technology and services.
You agree to allow GeekAssets.com to email you when necessary. Please report any unsolicited messages to geekassets.com.
By requesting a comic collateral loan, you agree to receive communication regarding our offer. You have the right to stop communications regarding any services at any time by sending an email requesting such.
LOAN PROCESS
Here is an explanation of the terms and conditions of the GeekAssets.com process and the steps involved -

Member requests a loan quote on graded comic books through our ‘quote form’ on the website or at a live event.
Geek Assets team responds with a preliminary quote for the loan amount, number of months and interest rate.
Member responds that they wish to move forward and provide us with the physical graded comic book(s) using an insured shipping agent.
Geek Assets receives the comic book(s) from the Member and inspects them for final evaluation. Member is then sent by electronic means a final agreement to purchase the graded comic books with the option for the member to repurchase (number of months, interest payment, etc.).
Member signs the agreement and Geek Assets transfers the agreed upon payment to the Member through bank transfer or Paypal.
Member receives an invoice each month for the agreed upon interest only payment. The final months payment will be the remaining interest plus the principal.
If all payments are completed, the graded comic books used as collateral are shipped back to the Member.
If payments are in default the Member will have 30 days to bring all payments current or the repurchase option will be in default and the items will no longer be available for repurchase under the terms of the agreement.
Scenario A: Borrower repays loan + interest per the terms of the loan agreement. GeekAssets.com ships the item back to the borrower.
Scenario B: Borrower does NOT repay loan + interest according to the terms of the loan agreement. GeekAssets.com holds the item for 30 days (or agreed upon terms in the contract)
Transaction is Complete
By visiting the GeekAssets.com Site and/or by submitting a pawn application for the Services, or by participating in any transaction, you represent and warrant that you have read, understand, have the legal capacity to, and hereby agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. In order to participate in certain GeekAssets.com Services, you may be notified that you are required to download software or content and/or agree to additional terms and conditions. Unless otherwise provided by the additional terms and conditions applicable to YouPawn.com in which you choose to participate, those additional terms are herby incorporated into this agreement. You must be 18 years or older to use the Services.

The failure of GeekAssets.com.com to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
